Major League Futsal™ Announces Formation of League and Governance Entities
PALO ALTO, Calif. — Major League Futsal™ (MLF), a professional futsal league being developed for North America, announced the formation of its foundational operating and governance entities as part of its long-term vision to help define the professional era of futsal.
Major League Futsal LLC was formed in California on March 18, 2026, and will serve as the primary entity responsible for the development, operation, and commercialization of the Major League Futsal™ brand and league platform.
FutsalPRO Association LLC was subsequently formed on March 23, 2026, and is expected to support governance, competition standards, and the continued development of the FutsalPRO™ platform that powers Major League Futsal™.
Futsal is the fast-paced 5v5 indoor version of football played by hundreds of millions of people worldwide and is widely recognized as one of the most effective player development environments in the sport. Major League Futsal™ is being developed with the belief that North America represents a compelling opportunity to establish a modern professional futsal league designed for players, fans, partners, and media.

Major League Futsal™ and FutsalPRO™ File U.S. Trademark Applications
PALO ALTO, Calif. — Major League Futsal™ (MLF) announced today that trademark applications have been filed with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO) for the marks Major League Futsal™ and FutsalPRO™.
The filings represent an important step in protecting the intellectual property associated with the development of a modern professional futsal ecosystem in North America.
The application for Major League Futsal™ was filed on April 3, 2026, by Major League Futsal LLC and covers multiple classes relating to athletic apparel, league operations, sports competitions, media services, coaching, and futsal-related entertainment activities.
A separate application for FutsalPRO™ was filed on April 3, 2026, by FutsalPRO Association LLC and covers athletic apparel as well as competition, training, coaching, league, tournament, and sports information services.
